The Boise Convention and Visitor's Bureau is a great source of general area information.
Their website can be found at

Area Restaurants |

There are so many great restaurants within a few blocks of the venue that I made a separate page
for them. Please check the Restaurants page for more information.

Idaho Territorial Prison
This old west prison would look right at home in the middle ages and was in operation until 1973!
Old Fort Boise Replica
Located in Parma near the site of the original Fort Boise, this replica gives
a feel for what an old west fort was really like.
Idaho City
A short drive up State Highway 21 is Idaho City. It is believed that more
gold came out of this region than the entire state of Alaska.
Silver City
A bit harder to get to than Idaho City, but amazingly, it neither burned down,
went away, or changed very much from the way it was a hundred years ago.
If you love old west ghost towns, a trip to Silver City is well worth the effort.
(Road conditions vary).
